Program Overview

The Cosmetology Program at 1st Academy of Beauty equips students with the essential skills needed to provide beauty services, including haircuts, coloring, styling, makeup application, and skin care treatments. Cosmetologists also perform scalp massages, apply wigs, and remove unwanted hair, creating a complete range of beauty services for diverse clientele. The program combines classroom learning with hands-on practical experience, ensuring that students are well-prepared for a successful career in the beauty industry.

What You’ll Learn

Haircutting & Styling: Techniques for cutting, coloring, and styling hair for both male and female clients.
Hair Treatments: Learn to apply chemical treatments, perms, and relaxers.

Skin & Scalp Care: Provide scalp massages, facial treatments, and skincare services.
Nail Services: Perform basic nail care, manicures, and pedicures.

Certificate Program: These programs are below college level and focus on practical training.

Course Breakdown:

Classroom Instruction: 370 hours
Practical Training: 630 hours
Full-Time Schedule: Complete the course in 25 to 42 weeks.
Flexible Learning: Up to 250 hours (25%) of the program.
